Last Week of 2011 CSA

November 15, 2011 at 11:59 AM

Doesn't seem possible that this is the last week for this year's CSA boxes. The season flew by. I always feel a bit sad when harvest is really over for the year. We are still harvesting a few things but not like in summer.

We grew Brussels Sprouts this year. We left them on the stalk so people could see how they grow. It is interesting. They are delicious slow roasted in the oven or on the stove with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and garlic.

Hope the other vegetables in the box will make your Thanksgiving Dinner delicious.

We thank you for letting us grow for you this year and look forward to next year.

Have a peaceful winter,

Nancy and team.
