Garden Happenings this week

Busy time in the garden these past weeks. We have been planting tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, winter squash, pumpkins, beans, corn, eggplant, lettuce, spinach and more for harvest for the upcoming CSA boxes. Strawberry harvest is really getiing under way--the berries are small, but so sweet. The bees are busy pollinating the blueberries and cane berries--wonderful treats in July.
We are grateful that we live here in Oregon where the weather is so mild. The other parts of the country are really having challenges this year.
