I am not ready for August to be winding down so fast! We are enjoying harvesting in this beautiful weather so much.
It has been too hot for lettuce--it all bolted--went to seed. So we will have a break for a few weeks. We planted more a few weeks ago.
The peppers and tomatoes are really ripening nicely. We put mild ones in your box today.
Our new planting of edible pod peas is just starting. I like to just munch on them raw!
Sad to say blueberry season is over. We did freeze a lot in gallon bags if you need any over the winter! Triple Crown Blackberries will last till the end of September.
The guys are busy getting our October activities ready--hay maze, corn maze, hay wagon ride, obstacle course and an animal observation area. Come see us during the month of October for a fun family time!
Carl & I are going to Santa Rosa California for the National Heirloom Exposition--we will be on the lookout for tasty vegetables to plant next year!
Come see us soon!
